// How long have you been a member of Limitless Lab?

I’ve been a Limitless Lab member for nearly 2 years!

// What is your ‘WHY’? (i.e. why are you a member, what keeps you coming back for more, what is your personal success story, etc.)

Truthfully, in the beginning, I started because nothing else was motivating me, I was recovering from some heavy trauma and looking to find my place. Now, I continue to stay and come back every day because I like the way it makes me feel. It’s healing, and I get to spend every day with people who are in the business of bettering themselves. These past two years at the Lab have been too good to me emotionally, mentally and physically. I have been lucky enough to reap the benefits of hard work; I’ve lost 50lbs, I’ve lowered my a1c by 4+ points, cut my insulin needs by half, AND am no longer requiring the use of other medications. I’ve made the best of friends, gained a ton of confidence and have strengthened relationships I didn't know could be stronger

// What is your favorite fitness movement and why?

Right now, I really love using the barbell. It makes me feel very badass and it’s easy to measure progress.

// What has been your least favorite workout and why?

I really hate running. Short and long distances. And don’t put me down for burpees either. These movements make me feel not so badass. 

// What is your pre- and/or post-workout fuel?

Post workout…it's a Root Beer Float Shake with Rebuild from Rapid Fuel.

// What is your favorite gym ‘quirk’ (i.e. inside joke, well-known member quirk, saying, etc.) or personal mantra?

My own personal mantra is, “Dread it, never regret it.”

// What’s the weirdest thing in your gym bag?

Probably fruit snacks or juice boxes. I always have to be ready to treat low blood sugar levels.
